Time Limit Extn. for Non Utilized Property

  • Application Form
    • Application for approval of plan is to be submitted in form of a request letter to GIDC along with the documents given below.
    • GIDC’s policy on offer of extension for Non Utilized Property is changed from time to time.
    • Application shall only be accepted if it complies with the prevalent Non Utilized extension policy of GIDC.
  • Documents Checklist
    • The following documents should be kept ready and submitted along with the duly filled up application form of Time Limit Extension.
      • Self-Attested Photo ID proof of the authorized person (PAN Card, Passport, License etc.)
      • Building Plans Approval letter or Acknowledgement received thereof as the case maybe
      • Undertaking for time bound program
      • No Dues Certificate from Accounts
      • NOC from GPCB (if applicable) and If the NOC is not yet received then provide acknowledgement receipt for application made
      • Electricity Connection Release Letter & If Electricity connection is not yet released then please provide Electricity Connection Application Letter/Acknowledgement received thereof (if applicable)
      • Water Supply Connection Release Letter (if applicable) & If water supply connection has not yet been released then please provide Water Supply Connection Application Letter/Acknowledgement received thereof (in estates where water is supplied by GIDC)
      • Drainage Connection Application Letter/Acknowledgement received thereof (in estates where drainage facility is provided by GIDC)
      • Demand Draft for Administrative Charges towards GIDC
  • Scrutiny Procedure
    • GIDC will thoroughly scrutinize all submitted documents and provide approval to time limit extension if all conditions have been met by the allottee

Commercial property Within 6 years from the date of allotment/date of possession

  • Area above 1,000 sm. - with Divisional Manager
Residential/Housing Property
(cases where property is allotted to GIDC Employees)
All powers with MD/Executive Director (Allotment)/General Manager (Allotment)
Residential/Housing Property
(except the cases where property is allotted to GIDC Employees)
Up to 6 years from the date of allotment/date of possession
  • Area upto 500 sm.- with Regional Manager
  • Area above 500sm. - with Divisional Manager

The procedure of scrutiny followed will be as below

Timeline : Ideal time for processing application for time limit extension for a non-utilized property without any queries is 30 days post physical submission of documents at respective GIDC RM office. An application with query will take more days depending on the time taken by the applicant to furnish required documents/details.
