Application For Amalgamation

Amalgamation

  • Application
    • If property lies within the jurisdiction of GIDC
      • Application for approval of plan is to be submitted in form of a request letter to GIDC along with the documents mentioned under Documents Checklist.
    • If property falls within the jurisdiction of concerned Local Authority
      • Allottee shall have to apply to GIDC for a NOC (No Objection Certificate) for proposed amalgamation before taking approval from concerned Local Authority along with the documents mentioned under Documents Checklist.
      • After approval, it shall be the duty of the allottee to intimate GIDC for incorporation of approved amalgamation in DD Plan of GIDC.
  • Documents Checklist
    • - The following documents should be kept ready and submitted along with request letter for Approval of Amalgamation or application for No Objection Certificate (NOC).
      • Sketch of proposed amalgamation of properties
      • No Due Certificate from Accounts
      • No Due Certificate for Industrial Water charges and Drainage Cess (if applicable)
      • NOC from Industrial Associations (if applicable)
      • NOC from Notified Area Authority (if applicable)
      • If plot is utilized then, and 2 of the below 5
        • Industrial/Commercial/Residential Power Bill – First month (after start of production) and Last 3 months (from date of application)
        • Industrial/Commercial/Residential Water Charges – First month (after start of production) and Last 3 months (from date of application)
        • Sales Tax – (CST & VAT along with Sales Tax with Challan)
        • Excise Duty – (Registration certificate with Gate Pass)
        • Industrial/Commercial/Residential Electricity connection certificate

      Note : If necessary, GIDC will ask the applicant to submit other necessary documents to process the application.

  • Scrutiny Procedure
  • Timeline : Ideal time for processing Amalgamation application without any queries is 30 days post physical submission of documents at respective GIDC RM office. An application with query will take more days depending on the time taken by the applicant to furnish required documents/details.
